Kids in East Lansing are lucky today - it's a snow day.
I've been stuck in my hometown since Christmas. It's been okay since a lot of my friends have been around, but I miss David. Oddly enough I also miss school, which I wasn't expecting at all. Last semester was not really the best time I ever had at school. I don't think it's really anything to do with the school itself, just me and maybe the length of time I've been trying to convince myself I'm actually cut out for this. Due to a (possibly stupid) decision I made, I'm not even going to be done in May - I'm going to finish off the second degree I started and get out in December. Assuming I don't fail out this spring.
I'm ready for it, though. Bring it, school.

Wiiding.
Today David and I began plotting out a budget for this wedding fiasco thing we seem to be planning.
It occurred to us that if we made the budget around $16k, we could either afford a wedding or about 80 Wiis. We've never HAD 80 Wiis before. Tough choice.
In other news, we're contemplating moving the wedding from 2012 to 2011.

Oh hai.
Why do I have a blog?
1. Because everyone else does, and I have an extremely difficult time not succumbing to peer pressure. Not that anyone was actually pressuring me to start this.
2. Because I just got engaged. Despite the fact that my wedding (or weeding, as Homer would say) will not occur until sometime late in 2012 (we want to push it right up to the edge of the Apocalypse), I am a rabid planner and I want someplace to put my ideas just in case anyone else wants to know about them. Which they don't. Whatever.
3. Because I am graduating from graduate school in May and I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS OKAY.
Carry on.
